Gratitude as MMOV Supports Pry/Sec School Students & University Undergraduates With Financial Assistance in Africa
Beneficiaries of Mighty Men of Valor’s (MMOV) recent charity efforts in Nigeria have expressed profound gratitude for the financial and nutritional support that has brought hope and relief to their lives. On February 6, 2025, MMOV extended its compassion to five university students and 50 primary and secondary school pupils, investing a total of 1,035,000 NGN to alleviate their struggles. This was done through MMOV’s collaboration with one of our partners in Nigeria – Seedtime Foundation in Lagos.
For the university students—Fathia Isiaka, Pelumi Oluremi, Rachael A. Alani, Ngozi Fidelia, and Ibukun Akinola—the six-month stipends (ranging from 15,000 to 20,000 NGN monthly) have been life-changing.
Additionally, MMOV’s monthly assistance has been providing daily meals for 50 underprivileged students for five weeks, ensuring they stayed nourished while learning. “This is more than food—it’s love in action.”
Through supporting education and nutrition, MMOV continues to empower Nigeria’s vulnerable, proving that small acts of kindness can ignite big transformations. The beneficiaries’ heartfelt thanks reflect the profound impact of MMOV’s mission to serve the “least of these” and build a brighter future.
Pelumi is a counselling psychology student at the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) Ijebu Ode, Ogun State, Nigeria
The Mighty Men of Valor (MMOV) in Nigeria have been instrumental to assist ‘least of these’ to help change the world for the better, for them as much as reasonably practicable.
Here are the details on the MMOV monthly stipends to 5 University students and meal programs for 50 students in primary and secondary schools for 5 weeks:
This was done on February 6, 2025
1. FIVE College Students in need = 510,000 NGN
Fathia Isiaka (single parent – mother & Year 2 in University)
6 months stipend x 20, 000 = 120,000
Pelumi Oluremi (orphan & Year 3 in University)
6 months stipend x 15, 000 = 90,000
Rachael A. Alani (single parent – mother & Year 2 in University)
6 months stipend x 20, 000 = 120,000
Ngozi Fidelia (Year 2 in University)
6 months stipend x 15, 000 = 90,000
Ibukun Akinola (Year 2 in University)
6 months stipend x 15, 000 = 90,000
2. Monthly Meal Plan (Zero Hunger) 50 students for 5 weeks
Cost meal per day is 400 NGN
Monthly cost per child = 10,000 NGN
10 students x 5 weeks = 100,000
50 students for 5 weeks = 500,000
10 bags of water 500 x 10 = 5,000
50 students = 25,000
Total for 50 students = 500,000 + 25,000 = 525,000 NGN
GRAND TOTAL = University students stipends + children’s Meal Plan
510,000 + 525,000 = 1,035,000 NGN
