MIGHTY MEN OF VALOR VISIT ‘THE BLIND CENTRE’ IN AFRICA

While Nigerians commemorated Democracy Day on June 12, 2025, the Mighty Men of Valor (MMOV) embarked on a philanthropic journey of faith to the hinterlands of Oyo State, Nigeria.
The destination was the Oyo State Special Basic School Centre for the Blind in Ogbomoso. Also referred to as The Blind Centre, this esteemed facility provides care and support for visually impaired students and individuals with varying degrees of visual disabilities.

Represented by MMOV President Emmanuel George and Pastor Manny, they were graciously received at the premises by Headmaster Mr. Taiwo Amoo, House Mistress Mrs Lawal and their esteemed staff. The Headmaster conducted a tour of the Bind Centre, introducing the to the visually impaired community.

In alignment with the mission and objectives of Mighty Men of Valor—impacting the most vulnerable—various sanitary items including tooth brushes and toothpastes as contributed by Dr Barry Bartusiak, a dentist in Washington, Pennsylvania, and a monetary donation of 100,000 naira (one hundred thousand). 5 brand new HP Laptops (biggest screen) were also generously presented to the students and staff of the center, as resources permitted.

In his remarks after the presentation, MMOV President Emmanuel George asserted that “Everything we own comes from God, and we are just stewards of his own measure.”

MMOV promised to partner with Blind Centre for more charitable interventions in future.

The staff and students of the Blind Centre expressed profound gratitude for the benevolent gesture and offered prayers for the continued prosperity of Mighty Men of Valor and their generous benefactors.
