MMOV Partners Glorious Team Welfare Ministry For Vocational Training and Missionary Support in Africa
Ibadan, Nigeria – October 25, 2025 – Mighty Men of Valor (MMOV), a faith-based philanthropic and humanitarian organization headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA, USA; has made a significant impact in some rural communities around Ibadan through a landmark partnership with Glorious Team Welfare Ministry. The event, held on October 25, 2025, saw MMOV spearheading initiatives that equipped local individuals with vocational skills and bolstered the efforts of village missionaries across 15 villages.
In a display of commitment to community development, MMOV in collaboration with Glorious Team Welfare Ministry, sponsored Free Vocational Skill Training programs benefiting 10 trainees drawn from various useful and critical sectors. The training categories included Domestic Products production, Hair Dressing, and Catering, with each participant receiving essential working equipment and tools upon completion of their training. This strategic empowerment is anticipated to catalyze entrepreneurship and economic self-sufficiency among beneficiaries.
The Domestic Products segment saw five individuals trained in the manufacture of vital household items such as Petroleum Jelly, Liquid Soap, Disinfectants, Air Freshener, and menthol solutions. Each of these trainees was equipped with startup tools, positioning them to venture into production and meet local market demands.
In the Hair Dressing category, two participants were furnished with hair dryers and accessories, gifting them the means to establish thriving salons. Meanwhile, three catering trainees received compact local ovens, arming them with foundational equipment to launch food businesses tailored to community tastes and needs.
Beyond vocational empowerment, MMOV extended substantial support to village missionaries operating in 15 surrounding villages. At the Village Missionaries Conference, 15 dedicated missionaries were honored with certificates of completion, acknowledging their tireless service. Furthermore, MMOV demonstrated its solidarity by providing each of the 167 attendees with 1 kg of wheat sachets, a gesture addressing immediate nutritional needs. The organization also ensured sustenance for the day by catering cooked meals for 175 individuals, encompassing the 167 conference participants plus eight esteemed guests from the city.
