MMOV SUPPORT FOR 30 FAMILIES & 109 RETURNING SCHOOL PUPILS IN NIGERIA
In a timely act of compassion ahead of the new academic year, the Mighty Men of Valor (MMOV) has extended practical hope to families through a generous donation of One Million, Three Hundred and Sixty-One Thousand Naira (N1,361,000) to Sovereign Word Church, Lekki, for its 2026 Back-to-School Initiative. In an acknowledgment letter dated 13 September 2026, the church, led by Resident Pastor Tonee Enenmor, described the intervention as significant and timely, enabling it to expand the reach of the initiative to more families and cater to both the educational and welfare needs of children.
The donation was strategically deployed to provide essential back-to-school and family support items. According to the letter, this included 54 school bags, 50 water bottles, school shoes, and 50 sets of writing materials comprising exercise books, pens, pencils, erasers, rulers and mathematical sets. Critically, N900,000 of the sum was dedicated to school-fee support for 30 families, while the balance provided for bags of rice, noodles, cereals, and 100 packs of sanitary towels for girls, addressing both learning readiness and household stability.
The impact of this gesture is both measurable and deeply human. A total of 30 families were reached and 109 children in attendance benefited from various items of support. Beyond the material value, as the church noted, the contribution communicated a more powerful message to the beneficiary families: that their children’s education, dignity and wellbeing matter. It allowed the church to respond to needs that might otherwise have remained unmet and gave it the capacity to reach beyond its initial scope.
The Mighty Men of Valor have through this act demonstrated that meaningful change is possible when individuals and organisations choose to invest intentionally in the lives of children and families. The partnership, which the church said it does not take for granted, is a model of faith in action — restoring confidence for parents, equipping children for the classroom, and making education support more accessible for those who need it most.
